Tohle je důležitý krok pro Terra Classic, protože Hyperlane může pomoci vytvořit cross-chain trasy pro $LUNC a $USTC . Jednoduše řečeno, Hyperlane poskytuje infrastrukturu, která umožňuje pohyb aktiv a zpráv mezi různými blockchainy.

Orbit Labs zveřejnilo technický implementační návrh pro nativní systém stakingu USTC na Terra Classic před pouhými 2 hodinami.
Návrh následuje po úspěšném schválení Governance Proposal #12219, které signalizovalo podporu komunity pro $USTC systém stakingu v rámci no-minting struktury. Nový technický dokument vysvětluje, jak by mohl fungovat staking USTC na Layer 1, jak by se počítaly odměny, jak by se validátoři zapojili a jaké podmínky musí být splněny před aktivací. [1]

Binance has executed its monthly Buy Back and Burn for May 2026, permanently removing 2,193,721,758.547263 $LUNC from circulating supply. The tokens are gone forever, confirmed on-chain.
What Happened
Every month, Binance converts trading fees collected from LUNC spot and margin pairs and burns them directly on the Terra Classic blockchain. May 2026's burn is one of the larger monthly burns recorded, with over 2.19 billion LUNC permanently removed in a single transaction.

How the Mechanism Works
The Binance Buy Back and Burn is straightforward by design. Trading fees generated on Binance from LUNC pairs accumulate over the month. At the 1st day of the following month, those fees are converted and sent to a burn address on the Terra Classic blockchain, removing them from total supply permanently.
There is no one-time shock. No marketing gimmick. Just steady, consistent supply reduction executed month after month. Over time, this compounds into a meaningful reduction of the total LUNC supply that was hyperinflated during the $USTC depeg event of May 2022.
The mechanism works because volume drives burns. Every trade placed on Binance's LUNC pairs contributes to the next month's burn. Higher trading volume means larger burns. It is a self-reinforcing system tied directly to real market activity.
Why This Matters for Terra Classic
Terra Classic entered the world with a supply problem. During the UST collapse in May 2022, the minting mechanism printed trillions of LUNC tokens in an attempt to defend the peg, hyperinflating the supply from millions to trillions almost overnight.
The community has been working to reverse that damage ever since, through on-chain burn taxes, transaction burns, and external mechanisms like the Binance Buy Back and Burn. Each monthly burn from Binance represents one of the largest single supply reduction events the chain sees on a regular basis.
Hundreds of Billions of LUNC have been removed by Binance from supply through this mechanism since it began in late 2022. The May 2026 burn adds another 2.19 billion to that total.

The CL8Y DEX is entering its final stage before launch. For anyone following the Terra Classic ecosystem, this is worth paying close attention to.
What Is Ceramic's Plan?
Ceramic is a builder who has been quietly constructing one of the most ambitious DeFi projects on Terra Classic. The core of his plan is a system called the Collateralized Market Maker, or CMM, which is designed to bring a new stablecoin called #UST1 to life on Terra Classic.
UST1 is not a fixed peg stablecoin. Ceramic calls it an "unstablecoin" on purpose. It targets dollar-level value over time through collateral mechanics rather than through a promise. The treasury backing UST1 holds real on-chain assets, currently over 41 million USTC worth roughly $300,000 USD, and is designed to grow through fees generated by the CL8Y ecosystem over time.
The full plan runs in a sequence. First, treasury formation through the $USTC to #USTR swap window, which is now closed. Then the CL8Y Bridge to connect Terra Classic to other chains. Then the CL8Y DEX to create a home venue for USTR and UST1 liquidity on Terra Classic. Then UST1 staking. Then eventually, money markets once liquidity is deep enough to support them safely.
The DEX is the next major piece.
Where CL8Y DEX Stands Right Now
CL8Y DEX development has been fully public on GitLab from the beginning. Over 240 development issues have been addressed and closed. The major bugs are resolved. What remains is minor cleanup, UI refinements, final QA, and the security audit before deployment.

The team is treating the audit as a required gate before launch. That is the right approach for infrastructure built to last. In DeFi, rushing a launch before a security review has caused enormous damage across the industry. The CL8Y approach is deliberate and the sequence is correct.
Why This Matters for $UST1
CL8Y DEX is the piece that activates $USTR and $UST1 liquidity for real trading on Terra Classic. Once the DEX is live, fees from trading activity flow back into the treasury collateral. The whole system starts generating real on-chain revenue that backs UST1's long term mechanics.
