Brazil's B3 Registers First Loan Backed by Tokenized Dairy Cows
Fazenda Engenho Velho secured the loan through BMP and investment fund Target FIDC, registering it on B3 as a movable digital asset. Agrotech firm Cowmed's Smarty Collars track each cow's health and location in real time, hashing data to blockchain for tamper-proof verification that lets lenders value collateral near full market price.
