Reminder to Cast Your Vote on ADR-030 🗳️

The polls are currently active for node operators to weigh in on ADR-030: Delegated Node Operator Permissions. Since this represents a highly important governance matter, we kindly invite you to explore the community discussions and review the full proposal before officially submitting your decision.

By utilizing ADR-030, you gain the ability to completely separate operational management from asset custody. The system allows you to allocate specific permissions across a maximum of 10 delegate addresses, assigning a unique operational scope and an optional expiration date to each one. As a result, your bonded RUNE can stay securely in cold storage while active hot wallets execute routine daily tasks. Additionally, the update makes it possible to independently cancel any individual delegate's access without ever needing to rotate the node.

Since April, @RujiraNetwork has successfully produced $50,111.62 in realized value for THORChain. Because every single trade executed on Rujira is routed directly through THORChain, the application provides dual financial support to the base layer.

This generated value has initially been divided into two distinct streams. A total of $29,894.65 has been settled directly into the TC Reserve. Meanwhile, the other $20,216.97 has been collected as liquidity fees, which currently flow straight into THORChain System Income.

Starting on Aug 13, a third revenue channel was officially introduced. Under this updated model, new app revenue is distributed using a 2:1 split. Specifically, two-thirds of these funds are allocated to the Reserve, while the remaining one-third is channeled into a POL fund. This setup ensures that protocol-owned liquidity is financed directly by the app layer running on top of it. Up to this point, this newest mechanism has gathered $272.46, and that balance will steadily compound moving forward.
