DO NOT GET CAUGHT IN THE FUTURES TRAP THIS WEEK!
Honestly, if you have been trading futures over the last few days, you have probably noticed how tricky this market is right now.
It feels like every time you think it is breaking out, it reverses and wipes out high-leverage trades on both sides. I have seen so many people get wrecked by fake outs recently just because they went in with way too much leverage.
If you want to keep your account alive, here are a few things I am personally sticking to right now:
• Dial down your leverage: Keep it light (3x–5x tops). When the market moves sideways like this, high leverage is just gambling.
• Watch the funding rates: If funding is super positive while price is struggling to move up, it usually means a liquidation drop is coming. Do not fall for it.
• Set your stops before you enter: Do not wait until you are in deep red to decide when to get out.
