To improve protocol efficiency, a proposal is currently under consideration that would require legacy minipools to utilize the latest delegate contract. This comes as Rocket Pool prepares for the Saturn upgrade next month, which will transition the system to 4 ETH MEGAPOOL validators. The snapshot vote is now open for node operators to participate. We recommend that all node operators upgrade to the newest Smart Node release, version v1.18.10. This update features client refreshes for Geth, Nethermind, and Reth, along with resolutions for various minor bugs. You can access further details regarding this release on Discord. The feature-complete Saturn upgrade is now officially live on Hoodi. This devnet-6 release incorporates the full range of new Rocket Pool functionality, including 4 ETH validators and MEGAPOOLS. We invite you to explore these new features and contribute to final testing by installing devnet-6 directly from GitHub via the link below.
New rETH deposits have officially launched the final queued Rocket Pool minipool!
The deposit pool will now continue to fill until the minting cap is reached at 18,000 ETH.
Currently, 2,256 ETH is already available for rETH withdrawal liquidity, and rETH is trading at a premium on secondary markets.
When the Saturn One upgrade launches next month, new 4 ETH MEGAPOOL validators will be enabled and will draw ETH directly from the deposit pool.
