When a trade closes and it is, in profit that means you earn money from the trade. You get to keep the profit that the trade makes. The trade closes in profit. You earn.
When a trade closes and it is a loss you will lose money. The amount you lose will be based on the size of the loss. This means that if the trade closes in a loss your loss will be proportional, to the loss of the trade.
