🧠 Background
Following AGP-1 and AGP-1.5, Aevo began using surplus protocol revenue—leftover after insurance fund and operating costs—for $AEVO buybacks. This was first announced on June 26, 2024, as a flexible value accrual method. All tokens bought have been retained in the Treasury and remain unused.

📜 Proposal Summary
AGP-2 proposes to formalize and resume AEVO buybacks:

✅ Monthly Buybacks Resume (Q2 2025)
April, May, and June: 1M AEVO per month — same as in 2024.

✅ Flexible Continuation Post-Q2
Future buybacks depend on market conditions and Treasury committee decisions.

✅ No Immediate Use of Tokens
All repurchased AEVO will remain in DAO custody until a future vote decides whether to use them for:

Protocol-Owned Liquidity (POL)

Token burns

Incentive programs

Strategic reserves

TL;DR
AGP-2 resumes Aevo's surplus revenue buyback strategy with a monthly 1M AEVO commitment from April to June 2025. Tokens remain under DAO control until the community decides what’s next.
