Binance just closed the sale. Tomorrow, the market gets its say.
$PREDICT's Prime Sale wrapped up today — and the numbers capture the whole tension of this launch. Buyers got in at $0.29. The pre-market has traded at multiples of that. Tomorrow at 15:00 PKT, spot trading opens with a Seed Tag attached. Everyone wants in. Nobody agrees what it is worth.
What it is
Predict.fun is BNB Chain's homegrown prediction market. You buy Yes or No shares on future events, and a correct share settles at $1. In its "Yield" markets, your collateral keeps earning through DeFi (notably Venus) while your position is open. Founder dingaling is ex-Binance Head of Research; YZi Labs incubated it.
The sale, and tomorrow's listing
Today's Binance Wallet Prime Sale offered 20 million tokens (2% of supply) at $0.29 in BNB, a $5.8M raise with a 6 BNB cap per user and pro-rata allocation. One tracker reported demand roughly 25 times the target — unconfirmed, but the direction is clear.
Here is what matters: the sale does not hand you tokens. Buyers got only a non-transferable PREDICT Key; real tokens arrive via airdrop on TGE day, still undated. Binance has announced spot trading starts tomorrow, 30 October at 18:00 UTC+8, in PREDICT/USDT, USDC and TRY pairs, with a Seed Tag — its warning label for higher volatility and thinner books.
Early market reaction
The only price history is Binance's pre-market perpetual, live since 25 October with up to 5x leverage. Day one opened near $1.62, printed a high of $1.7652, with the low reported in a $1.35–$1.41 range. At those prices the implied fully diluted valuation runs roughly $1.4–1.6B, against $290M at the $0.29 sale price. That gap is the whole trade.
So watch the $PREDICT chart when spot opens. Above the $1.7652 pre-market high, the market is defending that premium. A slide back into the $1.35–$1.41 zone — or below it — looks like the classic Binance listing fade: one study found 19 of 22 recent Binance spot listings below their first-minute high within a week. The $BNB crowd will be watching too — the sale was paid in BNB.
Honest risks
Supply is fixed at 1 billion, with 16% unlocked at TGE. Team and early backers (36% combined) get nothing at TGE, then a 24-month cliff plus 36 months of vesting — genuinely protective. But insiders plus treasury still hold about 44%, and the 70 million Season 1 airdrop lets claimants take 35% instantly: ready-made launch-day sell pressure. Two days before the sale, Predict.fun disclosed around $400K in reported unauthorized wallet transfers, reimbursement pledged, no final post-mortem yet. One widely shared Square analyst called the business real but the token overpriced — roughly 63 years of platform revenue. Polymarket bettors disagree: odds of a $1B-plus FDV one day after launch hit 71%.
That is the bet: a real product, a premium price, a tiny float. Check the $UMA chart too — if the sector rotates, it shows there first.
The sale is done. The verdict lands tomorrow.
