Aviva invested £50 million ($66 million) in a new XRP Ledger-based share class of its Sterling Liquidity Fund on Monday. Aviva's combined investments in two XRP Ledger offerings now exceed £86 million ($116 million). Separately, Ripple introduced corporate treasury capabilities that allow eligible clients to earn returns on qualifying digital assets outside traditional banking hours. Greater institutional use of the XRP Ledger could increase transactional demand for XRP, but investments in tokenized fund shares are not equivalent purchases of XRP. Ripple has not disclosed the new treasury product's returns, the mechanisms generating those returns, or whether participating companies will transact through the XRP Ledger.
