ASML Beats Q3 2026 Profit Expectations as AI Chip Equipment Demand Continues to Rise

📊 ASML reported Q3 2026 revenue of €11.7 billion and net income of nearly €5 billion. Gross margin reached 57.5%, up from 54% in the previous quarter and above guidance.

📈 The company raised its full-year 2026 revenue outlook to €44–45 billion, while projecting Q4 revenue of €14.2–15.2 billion.

🤖 CEO Christophe Fouquet said customers continue to raise their chip equipment demand forecasts, driven by AI investment expectations. Some customers have even expressed interest in placing orders for 2029 and 2030.

🏭 ASML expects its planned capacity for 2027–2028 to fall short of demand. The company is considering expanding its 2028 capacity beyond the previously announced 30% increase, reflecting a longer-term investment outlook for the semiconductor industry.
