We are currently witnessing some highly unexpected fluctuations within the United States yield curve. Over the course of a single month, a complete round trip has taken place across both the 2s10s and 2s30s curves. Initially, there was a dramatic flattening that reached the low levels seen back in September. Following that drop, however, the market experienced a sudden and total retracement.
