Bitcoin is being tested by something outside the crypto market right now: oil.

Brent has pushed above $100, while BTC has pulled back towards the $83K–$84K area. Higher energy prices can feed inflation expectations, which can keep bond yields elevated and make financial conditions tighter.

That creates an interesting chain:

Oil ↑ → Inflation pressure ↑ → Yields ↑ → Risk appetite ↓ → BTC pressure

But there is another side to the equation.

Spot $BTC ETF demand has remained positive, and Binance Research notes that the $999M inflow on September 21 was the largest single-day inflow of 2026.

So I’m watching two forces:

🛢️ Oil: Can it continue pushing inflation and yields higher?

₿ BTC: Can buyers absorb that macro pressure and reclaim the lost levels?

The next move may be less about crypto headlines and more about oil, yields and liquidity.

Watch the macro. The chart will tell the rest.
