We Load-Tested the App. Nobody Load-Tested the Wallet 😅 $BTC was pumping, the campaign was working, and we pulled in 5x our normal traffic in one morning. The app didn't even flinch, every dashboard we watch stayed green. Withdrawals told a different story… The hot wallet ran out of float faster than we could top it up, and the signing queue went from parallel to single-file the second things got tight. Luckily, no funds lost, just a lot of people watching a spinner on the one day we'd paid to get their attention. Wrote a longer piece on what that actually exposed: scaling an app and scaling custody are two different engineering problems, and most capacity reviews only test one of them.
