Vik Sharma built a messaging app that sends $BTC privately after Coinbase banned his account in 2016 over a single transaction.

Since then, Sharma has backed several Bitcoin companies including PubKey and serves as an LP at Orange Juice. He also founded Cake Wallet and paid a Red Team to hunt for security bugs.

In a new podcast episode, Sharma discusses his journey from Pittsburgh steel to Bitcoin mining, his views on what the U.S. gets wrong about AI, and his new project Radar Chat—a messaging app that sends Bitcoin.

He also shares insights from 50 trips to China about America and explains why tariffs made steel companies billions while the U.S. racks up debt nobody plans to pay back.
