Took a look at Binance's bStocks just now, the tokenized stock offerings, and it's a fairly quiet session compared to what we usually see on the crypto side.
Circle's token (CRCLB) is the clear standout, up about 1.3% and trading near $89. What stands out is the volume behind it, close to $6.7 million, which is meaningful for this product category. Given how much attention stablecoin issuers have been getting lately, it's not surprising Circle is leading the pack.
On the losing side, Goldman Sachs (GSB) is down just over half a percent. That said, the volume here is minimal, under $20,000, so this isn't a significant move. It's more a reflection of thin liquidity than any real market sentiment shift.
The rest of the major names, Nvidia, Tesla, Apple, and PayPal, are essentially flat today, all moving less than half a percent in either direction. It suggests people are still treating these more as a way to hold exposure rather than actively trade them, at least for now.
It's an interesting concept overall, being able to hold stock exposure the same way you'd hold crypto, with markets open 24/7. That said, trading activity is still relatively light compared to traditional stock market hours, which makes sense this early in the product's life.
Just observing how this space develops for now, not offering any advice here.
