📉 U.S. Stocks Pull Back as Chip Rally Loses Steam

Wall Street turned lower on Tuesday as the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite slipped, despite easing oil prices.

The S&P 500 fell 0.26% to 7,386.65, while the Nasdaq dropped 0.97% to 25,678.82. The Dow bucked the trend, gaining 86 points (+0.17%) to 50,872.11.

Chip stocks were back under pressure after Monday’s strong rebound. The iShares Semiconductor ETF (SMH) dropped 1% following a 6% surge the previous session.

Micron fell 1% after a 10% rebound, while Broadcom also declined 1%. The volatility highlights growing concerns that the AI-driven semiconductor rally may have moved too far, too quickly. ⚠️
