Somewhere out there is a person who put $100 into BTC at the exact top of $126,080 in 2025. That feels like the worst timing possible. Hindsight says they bought the peak. But time has a way of changing the story. That same $100 is now worth about $62.97 at today's price of $79,382. Down 37 percent. Painful if they sold. Painless if they held. Here is the uncomfortable part. The best timing in BTC history was also once the worst timing in BTC history. Every buyer at a local top has been early, not wrong, for most of the asset's life. The person who bought near the 2017 top saw red for years, then green for multiples. The person who bought near the 2021 top did the same. The $100 you wish you had put in at the bottom is the exact $100 someone else put in at the top and still refuses to sell. Price is a snapshot. Time is the real chart. This is not advice. It is just a reminder that timing gets praised only after the fact. The worst timing of one cycle often becomes the best timing of the next. So would you rather be early and uncomfortable, or late and certain?
