🔍 Tokenizing a real-world asset doesn't automatically make it trustworthy.
Putting a deed, an invoice, or a piece of real estate on-chain doesn't answer the questions that actually matter: 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗼𝘄𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝘁? Has that ownership been verified by someone accountable? How was it valued, and by what standard? What regulatory framework does it sit under?
Blockchain is good at one thing here — making records transparent and traceable once they exist. 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗮 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘂𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻. Garbage in, permanent and public garbage out.
That's the part of InterLink's 𝗜𝗕𝗧𝗘 direction that actually interests me. It's not chasing the "tokenize everything" narrative — it's treating 𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 as the prerequisite, not an afterthought. If RWA infrastructure is going to work at scale, that's the order it has to go in.
