I’ll be honest, Dusk caught my attention because privacy on a blockchain isn’t just about hiding balances.

For financial applications, exposing every position and transaction can create a serious problem. Traders, institutions, and businesses don’t always want their strategies sitting in public view.

That’s where Dusk’s focus on confidential smart contracts becomes interesting. I see it less as “another privacy chain” and more as infrastructure trying to make on-chain finance usable without making everything transparent by default.

That distinction could matter more as real financial activity moves on-chain.
