Fast person, I’ll be honest, I didn’t pay much attention to Dusk Network at first. “Privacy blockchain for finance” sounded like another crypto narrative competing for attention. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized the problem Dusk is targeting is much bigger than privacy.
I’ve spent enough time watching markets to understand how valuable information can become. If everyone can see your position, your execution, and your next move, transparency can quickly turn into a disadvantage. On-chain markets make that problem even more obvious because transactions can be tracked, analyzed, copied, and sometimes exploited.
That’s what makes Dusk interesting to me.
It isn’t simply another trading tool, dashboard, or AI product. It is building financial infrastructure where smart contracts can operate while sensitive information doesn’t have to become completely public.
Think about institutions managing large positions or tokenized assets. Would they really want competitors watching every move?
Probably not.
The bigger narrative may be that blockchain adoption doesn’t just need faster settlement or more liquidity. It needs confidentiality without sacrificing verification.
If that becomes essential, Dusk could be solving a market-structure problem long before the crowd realizes it.
