I don’t know whether this is a good thing or a bad thing, but over the last 6 years, the market has completely destroyed the emotional side of trading for me. You open a pump — zero excitement. You open a dump — zero fear or anger. The only thing that’s left is boredom when you watch everything unfold according to some geopolitical or otherwise planned timing and scenario. Bitcoin just went up to $79K, you look at it, and there’s literally zero emotion. If altcoins start doing +500% tomorrow, it will probably be the same... Maybe this is good, maybe it’s bad. I honestly don’t know. There used to be excitement. Joy. It felt like you were actually in the game. You’d get excited about a great long position. A losing streak could completely ruin your mood. And now... everything just feels kind of indifferent. Sometimes I still get angry when I watch how full the market has become of insiders and all these carefully engineered marketing narratives. Because, naively, I used to believe in the whole idea behind decentralization and cryptography. And now it has turned into an insider casino where breaking news and headlines appear exactly when and where they’re needed. Maybe this is what trading looks like when it becomes boring — and you stop trading with your emotions.... $BTC
