BTC rose above $75,000 extending gains of more than 13% after the U.S. Treasury announced it would at least double the size of its liquidity-support buybacks for longer-dated Treasuries to at least $4 billion per operation.

The move initially pushed long-term Treasury yields lower and helped improve risk appetite across financial markets.

Standard Chartered’s Geoff Kendrick said the shift could help fuel a broader Bitcoin rally toward $100,000 by year-end.

Bitcoin’s break above the widely watched 200-day moving average is now being closely monitored for confirmation of a broader trend reversal.
