I USED TO THINK THAT ONCE I OPENED AN APPEAL, MY PART WAS ALMOST OVER.

Turns out, not really.

There is one detail in the Binance P2P Appeal process that I had never paid much attention to before.

While an Appeal is still open, both sides can continue communicating in the order chat and try to reach an agreement themselves.

If that does not work, the case can move to CS Review.

But the part I find more important is this:

If one side does not respond to the Appeal or fails to provide the requested information before the deadline, Binance Support may make a decision based on the evidence already available.

So opening an Appeal does not mean I can close the app and forget about the trade.

Once there is a dispute, I treat the Order ID, order chat, payment evidence and any additional requests from Support as an active process that still needs my attention.

If I am the seller, I still verify my own bank account before making any Release decision.

If I am the buyer, I keep the actual payment record instead of relying on a message saying I already paid.

And once an Appeal is open, I keep checking the app and email so I do not miss a request for more information or a deadline.

That changed how I look at Appeal.

Appeal is not a button that transfers responsibility to Binance.

It is the point where the transaction moves into a process with clearer evidence, responses and deadlines.

In a P2P dispute, silence does not always mean nothing is happening.

Sometimes it means the decision may have to be made from whatever evidence is already on the record.
