I started looking at Dusk as another privacy-focused blockchain, but the deeper I went, the more interesting the architecture became. What caught my attention is that privacy isn’t treated like a wrapper added later. It’s part of the way the network is designed.
I find the zero-knowledge approach especially compelling. I could prove that I’m eligible, solvent, or that a settlement happened without revealing every sensitive detail behind that claim. Then selective disclosure changes the equation even further: I can imagine regulators, auditors, and counterparties seeing exactly what they’re authorized to see without turning the entire financial system into an open book.
DuskEVM also stood out to me. Solidity compatibility gives developers something familiar, while the underlying privacy and settlement model takes a different approach.
That combination makes me think about RWAs and institutional finance differently. But I’m not ready to call it adoption yet.
For me, that’s the real test.
Can Dusk turn technically sophisticated privacy into infrastructure that institutions actually trust when regulation, compliance, custody, and real-world financial pressure enter the picture?
That’s where I’ll be watching.
