I Got My USDT Back, But It Took Nearly 40 Hours
The part that worried me wasn't the payment. The seller had already received my money, but the USDT still wasn't released.
The price gap in the market had become much wider, and with regulatory environment becoming stricter, I was already paying more attention to every P2P transaction. VN Digital Technology Industry Law now formally covers digital assets and includes requirements around transfers, ownership, cybersecurity and AML.
In my case, I had paid correctly, the seller had received the money, but the order still wasn't completed. I immediately kept everything inside the Binance P2P order and started collecting the evidence instead of trying to solve it privately.
It still took nearly 40 hours before the case was finally resolved.
🧾 Keep everything: Order ID, transfer receipt, bank history and P2P chat.
🔍 Check before trading: price, payment method, counterparty history and the exact order terms.
🔒 Stay on Binance: don't move the transaction to another platform when something goes wrong.
⚠️ If payment is received but crypto isn't released: don't send more money, don't make a private deal, and don't delete the evidence. Use Appeal and let Support review the transaction.
