Everyone writes about how to prevent these situations. But what if you already clicked “Payment Received” when, in reality, the money never arrived? I’m sharing the process for handling it, because panic is when it’s easiest to make even more mistakes.

Step 1: Stay calm. Don’t close the app, and don’t delete the chat. All evidence in the Binance chat can be retained and reviewed by the support team.

Step 2: Take SCREENSHOTS immediately. Screenshot your chat history with the counterparty, your bank transaction history showing that you haven’t received the payment, and the details of the P2P order.

Step 3: Open that P2P order and tap the Appeal button. Attach all the screenshots. Clearly explain: “I released the coins but have not received the payment. Here is the evidence from my banking app.”
Step 4: Wait for the Binance team to handle the case. Do not trade with that person again. Do not communicate outside the platform, even if they message you saying, “Hey, I’ll fix the issue right away. Message me on Zalo.”

Step 5: If necessary, contact Binance Support directly through Live Chat in the app.

Mistakes happen. What matters is following the proper process so Binance has the evidence it needs to help you.
