I Used To Think RWA Was Just About Putting Assets On-Chain
If someone mentioned RWAs, I'd immediately think of bonds, ETFs, or real estate getting a token on a blockchain. End of story.
Dusk The part that caught my attention wasn't tokenization. It was native issuance.
$DUSK Instead of creating a blockchain version of an asset that already exists somewhere else, the goal is to let the asset begin its life on-chain within a regulated framework. Issuance, ownership records, settlement, corporate actions... they're designed to belong to the same infrastructure rather than being split across different systems.
I stopped looking at RWA projects by asking only one question.
• Is the blockchain just representing the asset, or is it supporting the asset's entire lifecycle?
• Does the design reduce operational layers, or does it simply move an existing process onto another network?
• Is compliance added as an afterthought, or is it built into how the system operates from day one?
@Dusk_Foundation Whether native issuance becomes widely adopted will depend on regulation and institutions, but I think that's a far more interesting direction than treating every RWA discussion as another tokenization story. #dusk
