In the past, I did not pay much attention to the Order ID after a trade was completed. I thought that if everything went smoothly, there was no real need to keep it. But the more I learned about P2P trading, the more I realized that a transaction record can be valuable even when nothing goes wrong.

Now, I make it a habit to keep the Order ID along with other important information related to the transaction. If an issue ever comes up, I can easily identify exactly which order I am referring to instead of relying on memory.

I also consider the order chat part of the transaction record. Conversations about payment methods, transfer times, or other requests should remain within the order so they can be reviewed and verified later.

This has changed the way I think about “evidence.” Evidence is not something that is only needed when there is a dispute. It is a way of keeping a clear record of what actually happened.

I do not want to turn record-keeping into a complicated procedure for every trade. But the Order ID, payment receipt, and chat history are relatively simple things to save, especially when dealing with a high-value transaction.

A good trade is not only a trade that ends successfully. It is also a trade that I can clearly explain and verify if I ever need to look back.
