I learned to separate two words in Binance P2P...
received.
irreversible.
honestly, i used to treat them like the same thing.
they are not always the same.
Binance P2P supports 1,000+ payment methods, and some payment methods can carry chargeback or reversal risk.
so imagine i am selling through a 25,000,000 VNĐ Order.
before accepting, i check the buyer’s profile, completion rate, transaction history, payment method and account name.
then the money arrives.
good.
but i still verify it directly in my own account before Release.
and if the payment method itself allows disputes or reversals, that becomes another detail i refuse to ignore.
this is where my P2P habit changed.
i do not choose a payment method only because it is fast.
i want to understand how it works first.
unexpected payment method?
different payer name?
pressure to Release immediately?
those are reasons for me to pause and verify, not invent an explanation.
Escrow protects the crypto during the active Order, but my own verification still matters before i Release it.
i also keep everything inside Binance P2P.
Order ID.
payment proof.
relevant chat history.
transaction details.
if a payment is questioned or something no longer makes sense, i use Appeal or contact Binance Support instead of trying to solve it privately.
my personal rule is pretty stubborn now...
seeing money arrive answers one question.
understanding the payment method answers another.
i want both answers before my crypto moves.

when selling P2P, how closely do you check the payment method itself before accepting an Order?
