I used to check the trader’s profile before a P2P trade.

Good completion rate.

Lots of orders.

Everything looked fine.

But I was missing one small detail.

The payment name.

I realized that checking who I was trading with wasn’t enough.

I also needed to check whether the payment account matched the information shown in the order.

Technical point: Before completing a Binance P2P transaction, it’s important to verify the payment details carefully and make sure the funds actually arrive in your account before releasing crypto.

That sounds obvious.

But when you’re focused on getting the trade done, small details are exactly what can get overlooked.

Now my routine is simple.

Check the trader.

Check the payment details.

Check the actual funds.

Then release.

Self-critique: I used to think being careful meant checking the big things.

Now I think real caution is noticing the small things before they become big problems.

Sometimes one extra check is all it takes.

Question: What do you check first?
