My first P2P transaction was supposed to be simple. Somehow, my brain made it feel like a big decision.

I remember staring at the screen longer than necessary.

The process looked straightforward.

But my finger still hesitated before confirming.

Why?

Because I wasn’t really thinking about the technology anymore. I was thinking about trust.

I checked the merchant details again. Completion rate. Payment method. Small things that suddenly felt very important.

That experience taught me something I didn’t expect:

P2P is partly technical, but the hardest part can be psychological.

Once I became comfortable, my behavior changed.

I stopped rushing.

I started paying attention.

I became more comfortable taking a few extra seconds before every transaction.

And honestly, I think that’s a good thing.

In a world where AI, DePIN and digital finance are moving ridiculously fast, human judgment still matters.

Technology can make the process smoother.

But confidence comes from understanding what you’re doing and paying attention to the details.

That first transaction didn’t teach me how to trade.

It taught me how much trust matters.
