Circle acquired nearly 1,000 blockchain patents from IBM and announced that it has now become the largest holder of blockchain patents in the United States.

The technologies cover blockchain, banking, insurance, and cloud security, and will be used to enhance USDC, the Arc network, and financial services for AI agents.
