$ETH
Ethereum just made a move that actually stopped my scrolling for a second, jumping from around 1,878 to nearly 1,918 in a short window on the 15-minute chart. That's a real spike, not a slow grind, and those tend to catch attention for a reason, either something triggered it or momentum traders piled in fast.

What stands out to me looking at the broader numbers is the same pattern I keep seeing across majors lately. Ethereum is up 22% over the past month but still down almost 48% over the year and nearly 35% over six months. So this is a coin clawing back from a genuinely rough stretch, not one riding some fresh all time high euphoria. I think that context matters because a 2% daily pop looks very different depending on whether you're looking at it fresh or against that yearly chart.

The strength case for ETH hasn't really changed, it's still the base layer most of DeFi, NFTs, and now a growing wave of tokenized assets actually settle on. Layer 2 activity has been quietly compounding even while the token price lagged behind. That gap between network usage and price has been a talking point for a while now, and it's part of why some people stay patient with ETH even through ugly drawdowns.

The risk is that sharp 15-minute candles like this one can just as easily round trip once the initial buying pressure fades. Do you think ETH's fundamentals are finally catching up to the price, or is the market just getting ahead of itself again?
