Right now, it looks like $BTC Bitcoin could be getting close to a market bottom. But anyone expecting a quick and powerful bounce might need to be patient. A fast recovery doesn’t seem very likely at the moment.

According to research firm K33, several key indicators are showing patterns similar to what we saw in September and November 2022 — around the time Bitcoin hit its previous lows. Their analysis looks at things like leverage (how much money traders are borrowing), overall market participation, and broader economic conditions.

The head of research at K33, Vetle Lunde, has warned against getting overly excited. He points out that when these same signals appeared before, Bitcoin didn’t immediately rally. Instead, it traded sideways for quite a while before any meaningful recovery.

Recent data shows that investors are being cautious. Borrowing to buy Bitcoin has decreased, trading activity has slowed, and buying interest is at a four-month low. Some large investors have reduced their exposure, while many others are simply holding and waiting.

Lunde believes $BTC Bitcoin could remain in a range between $60,000 and $75,000 for some time. That suggests consolidation rather than a sharp breakout.

Another important takeaway is that even when fear levels are high, it doesn’t automatically mean a strong rebound is around the corner. Historically, periods of extreme fear have sometimes led to only modest gains in the following months.

In short, $BTC Bitcoin may not fall much further, but a rapid surge upward also seems unlikely. This could be more of a patience phase than a quick comeback.
