According to PANews, Chainlink has launched a cross-chain token transfer application called Transporter. The application is built on the Chainlink Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) and initially supports token transfers across multiple blockchain networks. These networks include Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Optimism, and Polygon among others.
In addition to the existing transaction fees and CCIP service provider fees, Transporter does not charge any additional fees. Alongside this, Chainlink has also released a new CCIP token transfer tool that supports the cross-chain transfer of native ETH through the WETH token pool.
