Cut your losses because the market doesn't care that you'll get your money back.
Bad investor mentality:
- Not selling because I'm down anyway. Will wait till I'm break even at least.
- It's barely worth anything anymore at this point. No point selling now.
Your brain will tell you not to because of these arguments.
But if there's little reason for a project to go up anymore it will never.
I used to invest in a project named Digibyte at the highs in my early days as an investor.
Saw 300$ turned to 60$ pretty quickly and didn't really recover.
It's peanuts at this point? What should I do?
I eventually took that 60$ and put it into Monaco, one of the first crypto payment visa cards.
They had an upcoming catalyst (mobile app and visa rumour approval).
That 60$ turned into 1200$ pretty quickly.
The major catalyst from Digibyte already happened (I invested after that, rookie mistake).
I still wouldn't have been better off if I had held Digibyte even after 6-7 years.
You don't want to sell good projects to soon but holding just for the sake of holding because you're looking to recover your losses?
The market doesn't care about that.
