BTC DOMINANCE IS AT A KEY LEVEL

$BTC .D is facing resistance around the 60–61% zone and remains below the long-term trendline.

If dominance starts falling, liquidity could gradually rotate from BTC → ETH → alts → memes.

This doesn’t mean every altcoin will outperform, but the setup is worth watching closely.

The altcoin market is going through a massive reset. Right now, around 40% of altcoins are sitting near their all-time lows.

Sounds terrible. But this is where things get interesting.

▫️Weak projects are getting exposed
▫️Hype alone is no longer enough
▫️Investors are becoming more selective
▫️Strong projects are trading at much lower valuations
▫️Teams that keep building now deserve attention

One important reminder: Cheap doesn't automatically mean undervalued. A lot of these coins may never recover.

The opportunity is finding the small percentage that are still building, still growing, and still relevant despite the market weakness. That's my focus right now.

Less chasing. More research. Better picks.

New CPI Numbers in ~2 hours 🚨

Last month we saw a big miss towards the downside. The forecast for July's numbers are pretty low. We also saw a drop in OIL during most of the month.

So not expecting too much craziness here. Obviously as always, lower is better as it keeps away any rate hikes in the nearby future.

Lower rates = better for risk assets

The current odds for a hike in September stand at 50/50.

Consolidating within a ~5% range more or less for the past month.

When one of these sides breaks, it will likely see a quick acceleration. Possible good momentum trade following such a break.

🇺🇸 SEC is moving on crypto regulation.

The agency will meet on August 14 to consider launching a tailored rulemaking framework for certain crypto investment contracts.

The CLARITY Act may be delayed, but the regulatory machine isn’t waiting.

Crypto regulation in the U.S. is moving forward from multiple directions.

Which matters more for the market: Congress passing CLARITY, or the SEC moving first? 👀

Back at its all time highest volume node and now sitting at that high timeframe support.

This has been relatively strong recently but I want to see a move above $8.9 to break the local high and get a move going. LINK tends to be strong when the market finds some high timeframe (local) bottom so it is a good one to watch.

It also got a mention from Standard Chartered yesterday about its potential by 2030 in the case of rapid tokenization growth. $AAVE
& $UNI
got similar reports and proceeded to show relative strength afterwards.

$BTC Big level here on the day.

Lots of confluence with a lot of levels that would determine where the momentum is headed in the short to mid term.

So good area to watch today. Below $64K and I think the bears will take control of this week's price action.

Most interesting is still to play alts that are more unbothered by BTC the past few weeks. Definitely some decent runs while BTC has been chopping around.

Bitcoin ETF inflows just hit their highest level in 4 months.

Institutional demand is coming back.

After months of choppy flows, seeing capital return to spot Bitcoin ETFs is a pretty interesting development.

If the inflows keep building, Bitcoin could get very interesting.
