$COTI 's story flipped in 32 hours flat: first chapter shorts were paying 0.2% hourly to fade a 57% rip, now longs are the ones footing the bill at 0.09% to stay in a trade that's up 44% on the day.
price is up 29% since we first caught this 33 hours ago, and it's doing all of it alone, BTC's barely moved. $9M in open interest riding on top of $110M changing hands today, that's a lot of leverage stacked on a pretty thin book, and both bybit and binance are flashing the same overheated read at once.
squeeze paid off for whoever was long from chapter one. the question now is whether the new longs piling in at these levels get the same ending or become the next chapter's cautionary tale.
Two days ago the longs were paying up to press highs on 8x volume. Today $LA sits at $0.0530, down 47.6% from that $0.1012 print, and the shorts who were paying 1% an hour to hold it down 37% got their money's worth.
The volume spike wasn't demand building a base, it was exit liquidity dressing up as conviction. When a coin needs fresh longs to keep pressing highs after a choppy drift, that's usually the crowd arriving late to a move that's already tired.
$EUL just flipped on the shorts again. 46 hours ago they were in control, dunking it -20% and still paying deep negative funding for the privilege. now price is back up +7.4% and they're the ones bleeding, 0.34% an hour, on bybit and binance at the same time.
that's the third regime change on this coin in four days. ripped near highs, got dumped hard by shorts, now ripping again with those same shorts stuck paying the bill. $33M turning over against just $4M OI, so there's real size backing this, not dust.
whoever's short here has been wrong twice already this week. NFA

$UNI already ran +5.3% in 4h, and $2.4M just landed on Binance, Bitget and Gate while that move was happening. this isn't the early signal, it's supply still showing up mid-move.
biggest single piece: $2.1M from one wallet (0x28c6…1d60) straight onto Binance. not smeared across a hundred deposits, one player moved real size. go trace it yourself, receipts are sitting in the thread.
Flow Traders also pulled $58K off Binance here. last time we caught that wallet moving, it was $78K of $PENDLE off Binance, and that one bled -3.1% over the next 24h. not a rule, just a pattern worth knowing.
smart money's net positive on $UNI over 7d though, so this isn't a clean story. coins arriving on exchanges while smart wallets hold. take that tension for what it's worth. NFA
$BANK 's whole story flipped: 91 hours ago shorts got squeezed on a 22% rip, and now they're running the show, price down 40.5% today and 48% since this first hit the radar 26 hours ago.
they're still paying 0.478% an hour to stay short here. on a coin doing this while BTC sits at +1.6%, completely on its own tape. overheated on bybit and binance at the same time, not one exchange's weird print.
chapter one was longs getting cooked into a rip. chapter two is shorts getting paid to press something already down almost half its value in a day. curious who's still standing when this one closes.
33 smart money wallets net bought $223K of $ANSEM this week. price move: -0.0%. dead flat, not a candle moved.
sharper part: a month ago these same wallets were net sellers, $5M out. now they've flipped and started scooping, and they're doing it into red, not green. that's a real change of mind, not a held stance.
one tracked wallet alone put in $716K, another $585K, another $296K. that same top buyer has also been stacking PUMP, +$100K this week, so it's not a one-off bag.
worth saying straight though: right now, this hour, the tape's tilting sells, 54 sells vs 46 buys, $28K out vs $10K in. so the week says accumulation, the last hour says otherwise. both are true at once.
33 wallets flipping bullish after a month of selling is a real signal. doesn't mean it plays out. just what the wallets did. NFA 👀
$2.0M of $AAVE just landed on Binance in the last hour while the chart is still sitting flat, -0.3% over 4h. money moved, price hasn't gotten the memo yet.
one wallet, 0x28c6…1d60, accounted for $1.7M of that alone. not a hundred small deposits, one player putting up real size.
zoom out and the wider CEX bank-flow shows +$15.5M net onto exchanges across 12 venues. same direction, bigger picture.
coins sitting on an exchange can be sold, doesn't mean they will be. could be a desk repositioning. but the size and the timing here are lining up before the price has said a word.
worth tracing yourself before you trust my read on it.
$79.8M of $ETH landed on exchanges over the last 7 days across 16 venues, and the price barely blinked, +1.9%. money showed up, the chart stayed quiet. that gap is the whole read.
traced the biggest piece: Wintermute deposited $490.1M onto Binance. same wallet we've clocked before, it dropped $99K of $ZRO onto Binance back on 7/29. Bitfinex also took in a $78.6M deposit straight to its own address.
Wintermute on the tape doesn't automatically mean dump, could be MM flow or OTC routing through Binance. but $79.8M net onto exchanges with a flat chart is supply sitting where it CAN get sold. watching this one, not calling it. 👀
$LA went from "fresh longs pressing highs on 8x volume" a day ago to shorts torching it 37% and still paying 1% an hour to keep kicking it down.
that's $157K a day just to hold the short. on $4.9M open interest. binance and bybit both maxed on the same side.
crowd's actually 55% short here, so this isn't some lonely conviction trade, everyone's crammed into the same door at once. 11 hours on the radar and price just kept grinding sideways into new lows the whole time.
paying a premium to keep stomping on something that already fell 37% is not free money, it's rent on a trade that can snap back and take the whole room with it. NFA
$15.3M of $AAVE landed on 12 exchanges this week while price sat at +1.6%, basically nothing. that's the divergence: real size hit exchange books and the chart gave zero indication.
traced it: $4.8M went onto Coinbase Prime through a deposit wallet, funded by Coinbase Prime itself 542 days ago, tokens originally sourced from 21Shares. $3.0M went onto Binance from Wintermute, a wallet we've clocked before, last time it moved $167K $UNI onto Binance and that one bled -2.7% in 24h.
supply arriving on exchanges can be sold, doesn't mean it will. could be OTC routing, could be a fund parking inventory. but two separate desks moving size onto exchanges the same week the chart stays quiet is worth flagging.
sell pressure lining up until proven otherwise. NFA 👀
shorts are paying 0.2% an hour to bet against $VANRY ripping 24% while BTC sits at -1.5%. this thing is trading its own story, not the market's.
62% of the crowd is still short and bleeding about $33K a day to hold that stance. $123K of fresh size piled in over the last hour anyway, no idea which side it's on, but it's not nothing.
been on the radar 32h, up 18% since we first flagged it, and price has already cooled off mid-range from today's high. squeeze still has fuel as long as shorts keep refusing to fold.
$24M of $LINK came off exchanges this week across 12 venues, one of the biggest net outflows we've seen, and the price sat there at -5.6%. money moved, chart didn't. that's the whole tell.
traced the two biggest legs. a wallet dormant for 5 months woke up and pulled $9.1M off Binance, this isn't its first rodeo either, it did the same move back on 7/27 with $1.7M and that one barely moved the needle (+0.2% over 8h). this time it routed a small piece onward to a Coinbase deposit wallet only 5 days old.
second leg: Wintermute pulled $5.2M off Binance, sent it back into their own wallet. we've clocked them before too, on $UNI , and that one bled -2.7%.
$14M+ off exchanges, flat chart, one repeat wallet and a market maker in the mix. possible accumulation, could also just be routine shuffling. either way, someone's positioning before the candles say a word. NFA 👀
$8.9M of $TRUMP hit Binance, Coinbase and MEXC in the last hour on solana, and one wallet alone accounted for $8.8M of it onto Binance. one player, real size, not a hundred small deposits.
price barely moved, down 1.7% over 4h, chart's basically asleep while this lands.
coins on exchanges can be sold, doesn't mean they will. but somebody just parked serious size where it's sellable before the chart gave anyone a reason to. watching this one, NFA 👀
40 smart money wallets net bought $ANSEM this week for +$100K. price move? -0.2%. dead flat, money's in and the chart hasn't even noticed.
sharper part: a month ago these same cohorts were net sellers, $6.1M out the door. now they've flipped and started scooping the exact coin they were dumping. that's not a hold, that's a fresh change of mind.
one tracked wallet alone put in $716K, two more added $296K and $217K, spread across the week not one lump sum. and they're buying into red, price down while they kept adding. that biggest buyer's also been stacking PUMP with +$100K, so it's not just a random bag for them. tape right now still has buys slightly ahead too, 42 vs 58 sells but dollars leaning green.
40 wallets flipping their stance and buying weakness at the same time is rare. could mean something, could mean nothing yet. just what the wallets did. NFA 👀
one wallet, 0x9a40…9e3d, just pulled $436K of $STRK off Binance. total outflow over the hour hits $529K.
meanwhile the chart's been sleeping, +0.4% over 4h, dead calm. money's already moving and price hasn't gotten the memo yet.
coins leaving exchanges aren't lining up to be sold. looks like someone's stacking size while nobody's watching. go dig up the transfer yourself, it's sitting right there on-chain. NFA
$46.7M of $ETH landed on exchanges this week across 16 venues while price sat flat at +1.0%, real size moving with the chart giving zero indication.
traced the deposits: Wintermute's wallet put $493.4M onto Binance, this exact wallet, same one that moved $64K of $LINK onto Binance back on 7/27 and that call barely moved the needle, +0.2% over 8 hours. so history says don't read too much into MM flow alone.
the other leg, $78.6M into Bitfinex, is just their own deposit wallet, exchange plumbing, not a whale tell.
net picture: supply is sitting on exchanges now that wasn't a week ago. could be MM routing, could be sell prep lining up. flat chart, loaded exchanges. watching this one, not calling it.
