XRP delivered much of the bullish scenario we outlined in our previous weekly outlook.

Back then, the XRP price needed to reclaim $1.42, break above $1.45 and clear the $1.48-$1.49 resistance zone. Once XRP moved above that area, $1.55 was the next level to watch, with $1.60 offering another test for buyers.

That is pretty much how things played out. XRP broke through those levels during the rally, climbed to around $1.66 and spent some time around the $1.55-$1.60 area before the move started to cool.

Now, the XRP price is back around $1.48-$1.50, putting the same zone that previously acted as resistance to a new test as support. If buyers can hold this area, XRP could make another run toward $1.55 and $1.60. A break below $1.48 would change the picture and could open the way toward $1.45, followed by $1.40-$1.42.

The indicators also point to a more cautious setup. RSI has dropped below 50, MACD remains negative and CCI is close to -100. For the XRP price to resume its climb, buyers will need to bring in fresh demand instead of relying on the strength of last week’s rally.

The XRP Price Is Testing $1.50

We had a look at the XRP chart, and the XRP price is trading just below $1.50 after climbing from the $1.00 bottom. The next resistance levels on the chart are $1.60, $1.80 and $2.00, followed by $2.20 and $2.40.

A clean move above $1.50 would give buyers a chance to test $1.60 first. If that level breaks, $1.80 and $2.00 become the next areas to watch. The downside levels are also clear. The first major support is at $1.20, followed by $1.00 and $0.80. Below those levels, the chart marks $0.60, $0.40 and $0.20 as deeper support zones.

The technical indicators are not pointing in one clear direction. RSI is at 55.27, which places it above the neutral 50 level and gives the XRP price a mild bullish bias. The indicator is also flat, showing that momentum has not picked a strong direction.

There are three bullish divergence labels on the chart and one bearish label. The bearish label is the latest one, pointing to a possible warning if buyers fail to push XRP through resistance. The Ultimate Oscillator is at 37.56, below the 40 level.

Social Sentiment Is Split on XRP

Social activity is giving investors plenty to debate. XRP sentiment was bullish on September 29, pointing to ETF demand and institutional adoption as key reasons for the positive mood. The $1.53 level is also an important level, holding above $1.53 could open a path toward $1.68. That target fits with the broader $1.60-$1.80 resistance zone shown on the XRP chart.

There is also a much more bearish view, the XRP price could fall below $0.42 if liquidity dries up, with a possible move below $0.30 under a capitulation scenario. That would require a much deeper breakdown than the levels XRP is testing now. XRP might also be mispriced because the token’s role as settlement inventory does not fit traditional asset valuation models.

Where Could the XRP Price Go This Week?

The $1.50 level is the main area to watch. If the XRP price clears it and holds above the level, $1.60 becomes the first major target, followed by $1.80 and $2.00. If XRP fails to break higher and selling pressure increases, $1.20 is the first major support.

A break below that level would bring $1.00 back into focus. For now, the XRP price remains in a recovery phase after its 48% move from $1.00, but buyers still need to clear the $1.50-$1.60 zone before the next move higher becomes more convincing.

FAQs

Could XRP reach $1.60 this week

A move to $1.60 remains possible if XRP holds the $1.48-$1.50 support area, recovers $1.55 and breaks through $1.60 resistance. The $1.65-$1.66 area would then become the next level to watch.

Could XRP consolidate this week

Yes. If XRP continues holding the $1.48-$1.50 area but fails to clear $1.55, the price could remain inside a broader $1.48-$1.58 range as momentum resets.
