FIP Early Read — Real Madrid vs Inter
The Champions League opens with a genuine test at the Bernabéu.
Real Madrid started their domestic season with three wins before losing 1–0 to Real Betis. Kylian Mbappé remains the main attacking reference, scoring four goals in four league appearances.
Inter arrive with three wins from three in Serie A. Their latest result may be the most informative: they recovered from 0–2 down to beat Napoli 3–2, with Lautaro Martínez scoring twice and Marcus Thuram adding the equaliser.
The risk picture matters:
• Real Madrid will be without the suspended Camavinga, Bernardo Silva and Arda Güler
• Mendy, Militão, Rodrygo and Asencio were still following recovery programmes in the final training update
• Inter have no suspended players
• Starting lineups are not confirmed yet
FIP’s early probability view:
Real Madrid win: 48%
Draw: 27%
Inter win: 25%
Madrid’s home advantage and Mbappé give them the edge, but the unavailable midfield options reduce their control margin. Inter’s pressing, physical structure and ability to recover from difficult match states make this much closer than the badge comparison suggests.
This is an early analytical estimate—not certainty and not betting advice. Probabilities will be reviewed after the confirmed lineups.
