Binance is shutting down operations in Belgium and France, with customer accounts set to close by December 31. The exchange has sent withdrawal notices to users in both countries.

The exit extends to Poland, Italy, and Spain. Sources suggest all 27 EU member states could face similar shutdowns after Binance failed to secure a MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets) license required under new European regulations.

Customers in affected countries have been advised to withdraw funds immediately. Users in other EU nations have not yet received closure notices, but the situation remains fluid as regulatory compliance deadlines approach.
