Retail is 2.39 long on BNB. Smart money sits at 1.09. That gap is the story.

BTC back above $80k looks great until you check the volume — 0.07x of average. Moves like that are usually forced covering, not fresh demand, and the $378M short squeeze headline fits perfectly. Price is also parked right on EMA200 near $80,142, and the 7-day is basically flat at -0.19%. We're inside a range, not breaking out.

Breadth is 14 up, 16 down. Dominance at 60.1% means money is hiding in BTC while alts bleed — no rotation happening. Gold at $4,129 says the same thing: safe haven bid, not risk appetite. S&P isn't exactly screaming risk-on either. BoE hiked 25bps on an 8-1 vote with Mann pushing for 50, Norway held but signalled tightening, and USD/INR near 94.5 shows the dollar still firm. Sticky global rates plus the SEC noise after the CLARITY Act collapse is not a backdrop to chase longs into.

What I'm doing: nothing yet. I want a daily close above $81k with volume back above average and open interest actually rebuilding before I add size. If $77.6k fails instead, alts get hit harder with dominance this high. Retail crowded long on BNB into this exact tape is how people get flushed.

Not advice, just what I see.
