Aviva Investors just brought a tokenized share class of its largest fund, the roughly £22 billion Sterling Liquidity Fund, onto the XRP Ledger.

Announced with Ripple on October 26, 2026, the new share class lets eligible investors with digital wallets hold the fund on-chain through a "digital twin" model, while the Ireland-domiciled UCITS money market fund keeps running off-chain with its assets held by BNY Mellon. Aviva seeded the class with £50 million (about $66 million), taking its total across two tokenized money market share classes past £86 million.

It is Aviva's second tokenized fund on the $XRP Ledger, after a USD Liquidity Fund share class launched in July 2026. Komainu and Licuido supported the launch, and Aviva says the tokenized shares keep the same objective, risk profile, daily liquidity and regulatory protections as the conventional fund, first launched in 2002.
