Typing "voucher code" into the Binance sign-up form gets you nothing on its own, because Binance has no box for voucher codes. The field you want is the sign-up code. Enter 20LESSFEES there while you create the account and every Spot and USDⓈ-M Futures trade on it carries a flat 20% lower trading fee. The vouchers themselves arrive later, inside the Rewards Hub, from welcome tasks worth up to $19,800 for eligible users.

That one paragraph covers what most people need. The rest of this guide goes level by level, from the first question a beginner asks to the habits experienced traders use so no voucher expires unused. Skip to whichever level matches where you are.
Level 1 and the difference between a code and a voucher
Most confusion starts here. Search results mix up three different things, and only one of them is something you type.
The sign-up code: A short text string such as 20LESSFEES that you enter once, during registration. It sets a lower fee rate for the life of the account. You can't type it in later.
A voucher: A reward that Binance credits to your account after you finish a task or join a campaign. It shows up in the Rewards Hub under My Vouchers. You never type a voucher in, you activate it with a button.
The welcome bonus: The set of new-user tasks that hand out those vouchers. It is the same campaign whichever sign-up code you use, so no code gives you a bigger welcome bonus than another.
So when a website promises a "Binance voucher code for $100 free", it is either describing the welcome tasks in a misleading way or trying to get you to do something you shouldn't. A real voucher never needs you to send money or share a login code first.
Why bother with a sign-up code at all?
Because the fee rate is the one thing on a new account you can't change after the fact. Vouchers come and go. The rate stays.
Lower Spot fees: The standard Spot rate for a Regular User is 0.1% per trade. With the code, it becomes 0.08%.
Lower Futures fees: USDⓈ-M Futures starts at 0.0200% maker and 0.0500% taker. With the code, those drop to 0.0160% and 0.0400%.
No conditions on the fee cut: It is not a task and it has no expiry date. It applies to each trade, which is why it adds up over months.
Welcome bonus on top: Using a code does not cost you the welcome tasks. You get both.
Level 2 and the sign-up itself, step by step
The whole process takes around ten minutes if your ID document is at hand. The code part takes seconds, but it has to happen at the right moment.
Open the sign-up page: Use the link at the top of this guide, or go to the official Binance site or app yourself and choose Register.
Enter your email or phone: Box 1 on the form. Phone numbers go in without the country prefix.
Check the code line: If you came through the link, 20LESSFEES is already filled in. If you came in another way, open the code option and type it yourself, letter by letter, in capitals.
Tap Register: Then confirm the six-digit code Binance sends to your email or phone.
Set a strong password: And turn on two-factor authentication the same day.
Finish identity verification: Most rewards, including the welcome tasks, need a verified account.

Once you tap Register, the account exists and the code question is closed. That is why step 3 matters more than any other step on the list.
Code to enter before you tap Register: 20LESSFEES
Level 3 and where your vouchers actually live
After sign-up, open the Rewards Hub. On the website it sits in the profile menu at the top right. In the app, search "Rewards Hub" in the top bar if you can't spot it in the menu.
The page has a points balance at the top, a History button on the right and two tabs, All Tasks and My Vouchers. A new account shows 0 points and often no tasks for the first few minutes. That is normal.
Every voucher in My Vouchers has its own rules. Before you use one, read these four lines on the card.
Product: Spot, Futures, Convert or another specific product. A Futures voucher does nothing on a Spot trade.
Activation: Many vouchers do nothing until you press Use or Activate.
Validity: Some vouchers have a short window after activation, sometimes only a few days.
Minimum or cap: A minimum trade size, a maximum value or both.
For the different voucher types and how each one is applied, see this explainer on how Binance vouchers work.

How the welcome tasks turn into vouchers
The welcome tasks are a ladder. Each tier pairs a net deposit with a trading volume and a time limit, and finishing a tier credits a reward to the Rewards Hub. The screenshot below is one real version of that table. Tiers and amounts change, so always read the version shown on your own account.

Take tier 1 from that table: a $100 net deposit and $3,000 of trading volume inside 7 days, for a $100 reward. Here is what the volume costs in fees.
Without a code: $3,000 at 0.1% is $3.00 in Spot fees.
With 20LESSFEES: $3,000 at 0.08% is $2.40.
The hidden cost: To reach $3,000 of volume with $100, you turn your balance over 30 times. Every round trip carries price risk, and that can cost far more than the fee.
Tier 3 asks for $500 net and $30,000 of volume in 7 days. That is $30.00 of fees at the standard rate, or $24.00 with the code, plus 60 turns of your balance in one week. Most beginners should stop at the tiers that match the trading they would do anyway. Chasing a tier with trades you don't want is how people lose more than the reward is worth.

Level 4 and what 20% lower fees mean over a year
A single trade shows almost nothing. A $1,000 Spot market buy costs $1.00 at the standard rate and $0.80 with the code. Twenty cents is easy to ignore.
The picture changes once you add the trades up. These three examples use the Regular User rates and assume every trade is a taker order.
The monthly buyer: $500 into BTC once a month, sold once at the end of the year. Volume is about $12,000, so fees drop from $12.00 to $9.60. Small, but it costs nothing to set up.
The weekly swing trader: Three $2,000 round trips a week, or $12,000 of volume a week and about $624,000 a year. Fees fall from $624 to $499.20, a difference of $124.80.
The Futures trader: $20,000 of taker volume a day on USDⓈ-M Futures, around $7.3 million a year. At 0.05% that is $3,650 in fees. At 0.04% it is $2,920, which leaves $730 in the account instead of the fee column.
None of these numbers is a profit. They are costs that go down. Your trades can still lose money, and lower fees don't change that.
👉 New account? Put the code on the sign-up form so these rates apply from your first trade.
Level 5 and the habits that keep vouchers from expiring
Experienced users rarely lose a voucher to a missed deadline, because they check the Rewards Hub on a schedule rather than when they remember.
Check once a week: Pick a day and open My Vouchers. Sort what is there by expiry date in your head and use the closest one first.
Activate only when ready: A voucher with a 3-day window after activation is wasted if you activate it on a Friday and don't trade until Tuesday.
Match product to plan: If you only trade Spot, a Futures voucher is a reason to learn Futures properly first, not a reason to open a leveraged position you don't understand.
Read the History button: When a reward seems missing, History shows what was credited and what was used. It usually answers the question in a minute.
Keep the task clock in view: Welcome task periods are counted in days from when you join. Write the end date down on the day you sign up.
Five mistakes people make with voucher codes
Waiting to enter the code: People plan to add it "after checking the app". After registration there is no field for it.
Trusting a "voucher code" from a chat: Messages on Telegram, WhatsApp or social media that promise a fixed amount of free USDT are the most common scam around this topic. Check any account with Binance Verify before you believe it.
Sharing a verification code: No genuine voucher asks for the six digits from your SMS, email or authenticator app.
Trading only to hit volume: Extra round trips add fees and price risk. Work out the cost before you chase a tier.
Forgetting the expiry: A voucher that expires in the background is the easiest reward to lose and the hardest to get back.
Questions people ask before signing up
I already have a Binance account. Can I still use the code?
Not on that account. The code attaches only while a new account is being created. If you open a new account, it has to be a genuinely new person with their own documents, since Binance allows one verified account per person.
Is it safe to use a code from a website?
A sign-up code only changes the fee rate. It doesn't give anyone access to your account, your funds or your data. The safety check is the domain: register only on the official Binance site or app.
Does a different code give a bigger welcome bonus?
No. The welcome tasks are the same with every code. What differs between codes is the fee rate, and 20LESSFEES covers both Spot and USDⓈ-M Futures.
Ready to open the account?
Enter 20LESSFEES on the sign-up form, finish verification, then open the Rewards Hub to see which welcome tasks your account was given. You can also check the current Binance welcome bonus event to see what new accounts are offered right now and which rules apply.
👉 Code for the sign-up form: 20LESSFEES, 20% lower Spot and Futures trading fees for the life of the account.

FAQ
Where do I type a Binance voucher code?
Nowhere. Vouchers are credited to your account and activated in the Rewards Hub. The only code you type is the sign-up code, once, during registration.
Do vouchers expire?
Yes, each one has its own validity period. Some also expire a few days after you activate them, so check the card before pressing the button.
Can I use a voucher on any trade?
Only on the product the voucher names, and only within its minimum and cap. A Spot voucher does not apply to Futures and the other way round.
Does the 20% lower fee rate expire?
No. It is a flat 20% off Spot and USDⓈ-M Futures trading fees on the account and has no end date.
Why don't I see any vouchers after signing up?
A new account starts empty. Vouchers appear only after you complete a task or join a campaign, and most tasks need identity verification first.
Disclosure: the sign-up link at the top carries 20LESSFEES, which is my own code. The dollar figures in this guide are worked examples, not quotes or forecasts.
