President Trump held a rally in Port Huron, Michigan — just miles from the Canadian border — and took direct aim at Prime Minister Mark Carney.

Trump claimed Canada has been "making $90 billion a year off us for years" and accused the country of taking advantage of the U.S. He added that negotiations are progressing: "We're getting close to a deal."

He softened the blow slightly, saying "I love Canada! I love everything about it — other than some of the leaders."

The remarks come amid ongoing trade tensions between the two countries.
