THE PRICE YOU SEE IS NOT ALWAYS THE PRICE YOU PAY

A market order buys speed, not a guaranteed price.

Slippage is the difference between your expected price and the actual execution price. It can be positive or negative.

When liquidity is thin, a large order can consume several price levels. A sudden move can widen that gap further.

A limit order gives you price control, but it may remain unfilled. Check the spread and order book depth before choosing order size and order type.

What do you check first: the chart, the spread or the order book?
