Citing growing security worries stemming from Houthi militant strikes, Saudi Arabia has delayed the Future Investment Initiative — initially planned for October 26-29, 2026 — until 2027.
The move to postpone the conference comes after a recent assault on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh that left at least 12 people dead and more than 300 injured. Prominent figures such as JPMorgan’s Jamie Dimon and Goldman Sachs’ David Solomon had been slated to speak,
underscoring the event’s importance in global finance and investment discussions.
