$SAND is the relative-strength name on a flat Sunday.
Binance spot, ~12:00 IST: SAND ~$0.0666, +18% 24h, retesting yesterday's ~$0.0669 high. $BTC is +0.1% near ~$81.7k, while ETH, SOL and XRP are red and TIA (-15%) and STRK (-11%) are still bleeding.
What makes this one interesting is the futures side:
- Funding is deeply negative. Shorts paid longs -0.70% at the 21:30 IST settlement and -0.19% at 05:30. The live estimate for 13:30 IST is around -1.3%.
- Open interest went from ~$11M to ~$19M in about a day.
So price is rising while a lot of shorts are paying to stay in. That can fuel a squeeze, and it can also flip fast once funding resets.
My map on the 4H:
1. RES: ~$0.0669 (Oct 17 high), then ~$0.070 where Oct 9 to 10 stalled.
2. HOLD: ~$0.0630 to $0.0635, this morning's breakout candle.
3. INVALID: a 4H close under ~$0.058 undoes the move.
A watchlist note, not a signal and not financial advice. Leverage on a squeeze is how both sides get hurt.
Break $0.067 or fade back to $0.063? Reply BREAK or FADE.
