Nillion: A Thought About Data and Ownership
Sometimes, I think about how much of ourselves we share online without really thinking about it.
Our data helps AI learn, grow, and create value. But who actually benefits from that value? The people sharing their data, or the systems using it?
That question led me to look at Nillion differently.
Its core product, Covenants, focuses on working with sensitive data under defined rules. Its first release, Dusk, is an early step toward making this idea practical.
I find the connection between AI and blockchain interesting. AI can turn information into something useful, while blockchain can help make permissions and actions more transparent and verifiable.
Still, I keep coming back to one thought: contributing something valuable should not automatically mean giving up control over it.
