Beating AI News Flash: Independent developer FeiZ has open-sourced DeepSeek Bot (DS Bot), an unofficial plugin based on DeepSeek Harness (DSH). After installation, users can create multiple Bots with different roles, configure models for each of them, and have them execute tasks and collaborate with one another. Each Bot has an independent session and long-term memory, and can remember user preferences. When conversations get too long, the plugin automatically compresses the context and can also search earlier chat records. Memories are saved locally as Markdown files and also support team sharing. On first use, the system comes with a supervisor Bot named Chief. Simply tell it which roles are needed, and it can help you create other Bots and group chats. By default, group chats are answered by the administrator, which then calls on other members as needed, avoiding having all Bots participate every time and reducing Token consumption. Users can also directly @ specific members. The plugin also supports scheduled tasks and allows users to view Token usage by Bot and by model. On desktop, enter `ds-bot` on the plugin page to install it, and it can also be used on the Web.In the future, the author also plans to support integration with local Agents. The project is open-sourced under the Apache 2.0 license and is still in its early stages.
